Adani Petronet commissions 2nd Jetty at Dahej Port

Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port Ltd, which operates the Dahej Port in Gujarat has commissioned the 2^nd jetty at the port.   The company is a Joint Venture between Adani SEZ Ltd and Petronet LNG.  Dahej Port handles varied commodities such as coal, silica sand, rock phosphate, steel products and project cargo / machinery items.  The coal import terminal at Dahej is equipped with two jetties with a deep draft of 14 mtrs each thus enabling berthing of large capsize vessels.

660 Mw Unit I of Jhajjar Power Ltd commissioned in Haryana

CLP Power India on January 11, 2012 synchronized 660 Mw Unit 1 of the Mahatma Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project at Khanpur, District Jhajjar in Haryana. The 1320 Mw coal based power plant is being implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicle – Jhajjar Power Ltd, incorporated by CLP Power India Ltd, a subsidiary of China Light & Power, Hong Kong.   Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd has been nominated the nodal agency for the project.  Unit II of the power plant is also in the advanced stage of completion.

Hindustan Zinc commissions its silver refinery in Uttarakhand

Hindustan Zinc Ltd commissioned its silver refinery in Uttarakhand on January 8, 2012.  The 350 tpa silver refinery located at Pant Nagar has come up with an investment of Rs 100 crore. The commissioning of the refinery is a part of the company's plan to achieve an annual silver production of 500 tonne during 2013-14.
