Jindal Steel & Power, on January 6, 2012, commissioned
Unit III of its coal based power plant at Dongamahua, District Raigarh in
Chhattisgarh. With the commissioning of this unit at Raigarh, JSPL now has
total 4 units of 135 MW each (3 Units in Chhattisgarh and 1 Unit in Orissa) in
commercial operation. The total power generation capacity of the company has
increased to 917 MW. The company is building 10 coal based power units of 135
MW each - 6 units at Angul in Orissa and 4 units at Dongamahua. (January 2012).
