NTPC on November 5, 2011 commissioned 500 Mw Unit II
of Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project at PO Jharli in Jhajjar district
of Haryana. The plant is owned by
Aravali Power Co Ltd, a JV of NTPC,
Haryana Power Generation Corporation and Indraprastha Power Generation
Company. With
the commissioning of Unit II, the total installed capacity of Indira
Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project has reached 1,000 MW.Aravali Power Co (P) Ltd : Pawan Hans Tower, 1F, C-14, Sector 1, Noida 201301
