Arjun Munda, Chief
Minister of Jharkhand, on 27 April 2012, inaugurated the Bokaro Jaypee Cement
Plant (BOJCP) at Balidih Industrial Area of Bokaro Steel City of the state. The
plant with a capacity of 2.1 million tpa has been set up by a JV of SAIL’s
Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) and the Jaypee Group.
BOJCP comprises two mills with a capability to produce 340
tph of cement utilising vertical roller mill technology.
