Sharad Pawar on 28
April 2012, inaugurated Piaggio’s plant to make Vespa LX 125 scooters at
Baramati in Maharashtra. The company has
invested Euro 30 million (approx Rs 210 crore) in Baramati plant. It will roll
out three new vehicles, including a passenger three-wheeler, and a four wheeler
light commercial vehicle from this plant.
