The new terminal of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in
Indore, Madhya Pradesh was opened on February 14, 2012. Built at a cost of Rs
135 crores, the terminal, spanning over 1.8 lakh sqft area, is made from glass
and steel. It is equipped with a host of amenities including a central heating
system as well as a central air conditioning unit. The terminal also
incorporates an inline x-ray baggage inspection system which will be integrated
with its baggage conveyor system.
