Tata BlueScope Steel, on 6 March 2012, commissioned its coated steel manufacturing facility at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. The facility spread over an area of around 61 acre has been set up with an investment of Rs 880 crore. It will cater to India and SAARC countries. The facility has an annual metallic coating capacity of 2,50,000 tonne, including pre-painting capacity of 1,50,000 tonne.
