NTPC commissions Unit 1 of Mouda Thermal Power Plant
NTPC, on 19 April 2012, commissioned Unit I of 500 MW of Mouda Super Thermal Power project at Nagpur in Maharashtra. The 1,000 MW (2x500 MW) power project
will cater to five states and two Union Territories. The
commissioning of the Unit I has taken up the total capacity of NTPC to 37,514
MW.
